Transformerz

“Transformerz” is the the second insight into upcoming album “The O.L.A Report.” His second album, following-up from the 2011 release “Browne Saucery.”

“Transformerz” picks up the pace from the album’s first single by launching into a glitching groove and buzzing bassline that fluidly flow into Voodoo’s verses. “Transformerz” is the Ipswich lyricist’s revelation of a society hidden from view of the public; his confident social commentaries continue to highlight sides to our culture that operate around us unseen. With production from dirty Dutchman Mackadena, the stuttering syncopation of “Transformerz” creates a dark funk unlike what we’ve heard from Voodoo Browne so far.

Birds & Burps

Burps & Birds was Voodoo Browne’s second release in 2012. Voodoo’s explosive opening to the year with “Stand Firm” simmers with the contrastingly laidback, head-nodding next single “Burps & Birds.” Voodoo returns to his unique brand of brazen social commentary, B&B is a cheeky prod at a stereotyped sub-community of boorish Brits. In the tongue-in-cheek video Voodoo literally points the finger at the lager-swilling, football-worshiping sub-community infamous to the UK.

Stand Firm – Out Now:

Voodoo leapt into 2012 with a jolt and detonated his single “Stand Firm.” The explosive track continues the prolific lyricist’s constant flow of releases in to 2012 and showcases a fiery side to his personality. With an aggressive broadcast of the values of an everyday person struggling with the restraints of modern life. His eruptive delivery in Stand Firm highlights the versatile contrasts of his style whilst retaining his unique ability to identify with his audience.

Hearsay – Video

Hearsay is a tongue in cheek song taken from the Browne Saucery album, Voodoo steps into the countryside to vent his frustrations with the stereotypes he’s painted with, when all he’s doing is building his family and working hard on music. Too many rumours…..
